On this special evening, Kalpanarts' talented dancer Indu Panday will bring to life both the sophisticated South Indian dance style Bharatanatyam and the graceful North Indian dance style Kathak. Audiences can expect an enchanting performance that focuses on hand gestures, facial expression and complex footwork. These elements serve to bring stories to life and express the beauty of dance through beautiful choreographic phrases.

During an interlude, versatile artist Ganesh Ramnath, a master of both song and tabla, will share the stage with Indu. Together, they will immerse the audience in the world of Indian rhythms and show how they seamlessly merge with the dance performances. And that's not all! 

To deepen the cultural context, audiences will be treated to four captivating episodes of the animated series "The World of Indian Dance." This wonderful series, created by Ylva Ernst in collaboration with Kalpanarts, sheds light not only on the essence of Indian dance, but also on the rich mythology and world of Indian gods.
